The Dragonlance series was my personal favorite, and the one that I still occasionally go back to as fo of the stories hold up surprisingly well. He must have been taking some time off. Elrod has written over 24 full-length novels and numerous short stories. It was just interesting and it really made me think. After you do get used to it, it becomes a fast paced and exciting read. He was a cipher in the previous books in this series where he featured – a bad Hollywood Dracula – but here?

Like I said not a bad book but nothing that really stands out in the genre. Patricia Nead Elrod is an American fantasy writer oof in novels about vampires.

Sometimes you find that nostalgic read that takes you back to being a kid, and you smile from start to finish… this was not one of them. So for me it had a lot of nostalgia value as well. Okay, here’s my “review.

So I have to listen to the bulk of it so my character can know what happened. This is the memoirs of Count Stradh who has spent most of his life as a solider, fine tuned to the act of bloodshed and betrayal. An enjoyable read with Strahd coming off as a far darker and more strahe monster memoisr Bram Stoker’s original.

While it looked like a decently-sized read, my edition had larger than normal font and whimsically cliche pictures, which I felt padded it into pages when it should have been around I took one of her hands, and she straightened how like a tall flower she was, and with a bow, lightly kissed her fingertips.

Trivia About I, Strahd: For those of you that have read Vampire of the Mists, what happens here is really no surprise. I love love love Strahd and Borovia. Most of her stories focus on vampire mysteries. You almost sympathise with his plight – almost.
